The General Board, on the recommendation of the Committee of Management for the Scott Polar Research Institute and the Faculty Board of Earth Sciences and Geography, have agreed to amend the regulations for the Institute (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 595), with immediate effect, to allow the Committee of Management to reduce the frequency of its meetings. Regulation 3 of the regulations has accordingly been amended by replacing the words 'not less than twice' by the words 'at least once'.
