Dr Rory Rapple, of St John's College, will give a short talk on Pen versus sword in Elizabethan political culture, and Dr Holger Hoock, of Selwyn College, will give a short talk on Art, politics, and war: rethinking Hanoverian cultural history, at a meeting of the Cambridge Historical Society, at 5 p.m. on 1 March in The Boys Smith Room, Fisher Building, St John's College. Prospective members are welcome, and drinks will be served after the meeting.
