UNIVERSITY LECTURESHIP IN TWENTIETH-CENTURY ENGLISH LITERATURE

Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1 October 2005 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate will be offered a Tutorial Fellowship at Merton College. The combined College and University salary will be according to age on a scale up to £45,707 a year. The successful candidate will have a proven record of scholarship and research in twentieth-century English literature, and will be able to teach, supervise, and examine undergraduate and graduate students in the same period. He/she will also be able to contribute to administration in the College and the Faculty. Preference may be given to candidates who can demonstrate a competence in Victorian teaching.
