FELLOW AND COLLEGE LECTURER IN ENGLISH

Robinson College invites applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in English with effect from 1 October 2005. The appointment, which is funded for a maximum of five years, is open to both men and women. Initial appointment will be for three years with a possibility of renewal for a further two years and is subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the College. The College welcomes applications from candidates in all fields. Candidates must be prepared to teach at least one of the period papers for Part I of the English Tripos (1300-1550; 1500-1700; 1688-1847; 1830-present day). FELLOW AND COLLEGE LECTURER IN PURE MATHEMATICS

Robinson College invites applications for a Fellowship and College Lectureship in Pure Mathematics with effect from 1 October 2005 The appointment, which is funded for a maximum of five years, is open to both men and women. Initial appointment will be for three years with a possibility of renewal for a further two years and is subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the College. The College will particularly welcome applications from candidates able to teach Part IB Pure Mathematics and to contribute two courses or more to the Part II Pure Mathematics circus. The stipend of a College Lecturer, which can be pensionable under USS, is currently at a point in the range £16,706 to £28,280 depending on age and experience.
