Election, appointments, reappointments, and grants of title

The following election, appointments, reappointments, and grants of title have been made:

Election

Professor John Christopher Baillie Papaloizou, B.Sc., London, D.Phil., Sussex, Professor of Mathematics and Astronomy, Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, elected Professor of Mathematical Physics (1978) from 1 January 2005.
