POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

Applications are invited for up to two postdoctoral non-stipendiary Research Fellowships tenable from 1 October 2005 for two years initially, with the possibility of renewal for a further year. Applicants should be of postdoctoral level or expect to attain it by 1 October 2005, should have adequate financial support from a grant or contract for research, and should normally be resident and conducting their research in Cambridge in any academic field. The successful candidate may be able to rent accommodation in College and will be entitled to Fellow's commons.

Applications should include a current curriculum vitae, a research proposal, not normally exceeding 1,000 words, and the names of two referees, who the candidate should ask to write directly to the Master, St Edmund's College, Cambridge, CB3 0BN. Short-listed candidates will be invited to submit a substantial piece of work relating to their research for evaluation. The closing date for receipt of applications and references is 18 February. It is hoped to interview candidates in mid-April.
