ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATOR

Hughes Hall seeks to appoint an experienced Academic Administrator for this new post. The position offers an exceptional opportunity for a person with appropriate experience who is keen to work in a lively and rewarding College environment, dedicated to managing the administration of the combined Admissions and Tutorial offices. The post-holder will have considerable contact with students, College staff and Fellows, and with colleagues across the University, as well as outside it. The post-holder must have a pleasant manner, an outgoing personality, and excellent communication skills (including expertise in databases). The post-holder will be capable of taking a high level of responsibility, working to deadlines, under pressure, and to a high standard. The post-holder should be an effective manager of a small team, and will be involved in student numbers, and tutorial planning for the busy annual cycle of work demanded of the Admissions and Tutorial offices. The post-holder will oversee the upgrading of student record keeping and the development and integration of the College database with CamSIS.

The salary for this post will be £24,820. The College offers a pension scheme.
