Examination in Development Studies for the M.Phil. Degree (one-year course), 2005: Amendments

The Development Studies Committee give notice that the following subjects for examination have been added to the list of Group 2 (optional) subjects for the examination in Development Studies for the M.Phil. Degree (one-year course) in 2005, published on 3 June 2004 (Reporter 2003-04, pp. 791-92):

Subject 26 Microeconomics (S100 from the M.Phil. in Economics)
Subject 28 Macroeconomics (S200 from the M.Phil. in Economics)

In the examination to be held in 2005 these subjects will be examined as follows:

Subject 26 One 3-hour written paper plus one 2-hour written mid-course paper (not compulsory but can count for 25 per cent of the total mark)
Subject 28 One 3-hour written paper plus one 2-hour written mid-course paper (not compulsory but can count for 25 per cent of the total mark)

The Committee is satisfied that no candidate's preparation for the examination is adversely affected by these changes.
