Graces submitted to the Regent House on 8 December 2004

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 105), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 17 December 2004.

1. That a Rosalie Canney Fund be established in the University to be governed by the following regulations:1

Rosalie Canney Fund

1. The sum of £1.46m received from the Trustees of the Cambridge Foundation shall form a fund, to be entitled the Rosalie Canney Fund, for the support of education, learning, and research in the University in the fields of Medicine and Psychology.

2. The administration of the Fund shall be entrusted to three Managers who shall be the Regius Professor of Physic, the Head of the Department of Experimental Psychology, and one Manager appointed by the General Board. The income of the Fund shall be applied at the discretion of the Managers in accordance with Regulation 1.

2. That the regulations for University Composition Fees be amended, as follows:2

By deleting the entry for Archaeology and inserting the following entry:
EconomicsDDE

Courses leading to examinations for the M.Phil. Degree

By deleting the entries for Economics with Development, Economics with Econometrics, Economics with Finance, and Soil Mechanics.
