Professor Peter Brown, Phillip Beulah Rollins Professor of History, Princeton University, will give a series of lectures under the title of Treasures in heaven: religious giving in late antique Christianity, as follows:
| 24 November | 'Treasure in heaven': wealth and religious giving in the early Church |
| 26 November | Wealth, work, and the 'holy poor': between Syria and Egypt |
| 29 November | Augustine and a crisis of wealth |
Lectures will take place at 5 p.m. in the Mill Lane Lecture Rooms. All are welcome.
