On Monday, 25 October 2004, at 8.30 p.m. in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Professor J. D. Mollon, FRS, of the Department of Experimental Psychology, will deliver a lecture entitled '… my own eyes are not very critical in distinguishing colours'. Colour theory since 1704. All who are interested are invited.

At a meeting held on 11 October 2004 in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, Professor H. Ahmed, President, was in the Chair.

Professor Peter Littlewood, delivered the Larmor Lecture entitled Quantum phase coherence: from coupled pendula to Bose-Einstein condensation. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor A. Howie, FRS.

HONORARY FELLOWS PRIZE LECTURE - 2004

The Cambridge Philosophical Society's Honorary Fellows Prize Lecture for 2004 will be given by Professor Pierre-Gilles de Gennes on Wednesday, 10 November 2004, at 5.15 p.m. in the Lady Mitchell Hall, Sidgewick Site. All who are interested are invited.
