ASSISTANT TO THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

An assistant is sought to work closely with the Executive Director of the Centre for the study of Jewish-Christian Relations (CJCR). The position requires administrative experience as well as an ability to work in a small team environment. Marketing and PR experience will be an advantage. The position will require involvement in the CJCR fund-raising campaign. The post will require attendance of four days a week minimum, or full-time attendance. The salary will start at £18,000.

Two Postdoctoral Reseach Associates (£19,460) are sought to work with on a new research project, 'The Exegetical Encounter between Judaism and Christianity in Late Antiquity'.

It is hoped to appoint two researchers to the above project from 1 January 2005 for three years. One will be a patristics specialist, the other a rabbinics specialist, both of whom will examine early interpretations (the first seven centuries CE) of the Book of Genesis. Each must have some understanding of the other's field of expertise.
