Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 16 October 2004

The Council have sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 16 October 2004:

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by incorporation:

1. STEFAN ALLAN HALPER, Fellow of Magdalene College, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (2001).

2. DANIEL SGROI, Fellow of Churchill College, and Research Associate in the Department of Applied Economics, Doctor of Philosophy of the University of Oxford (2001).

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:

3. PAMELA BLAKEMORE HIRSCH, Fellow of Newnham College, and University Lecturer in the Department of Education.

4. PETER JAMES CRASKE, Administrative Officer, Grade II, in the Academic Division of the University Offices.

5. DAVID BARTON, Computer Officer, Grade II, in the Management Information Services Division of the University Offices.

6. MARGARET EVELYN GLENDENNING, Senior Technical Officer in the Department of Chemistry.

7. MARTIN PAUL VINNELL, Fellow Commoner of Downing College, and Senior Technical Officer in the School of Biological Sciences.

8. CHRISTOPHER DAVID WARNER, Fellow of Robinson College, and Senior Research Associate in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics.

9. JONATHAN PAUL HEFFERNAN, Computer Officer, Grade III, in the Management Information Services Division of the University Offices.

10. BEVERLEY ELIZABETH GANDER, of Wolfson College, and Senior Assistant Treasurer in the Finance Division of the University Offices.

11. VIRGINIA MITCHELL, Assistant Treasurer in the Finance Division of the University Offices.
