For 2006-07 scholarships are available in principle as follows:
| (a) | Academic-year Ambassadorial scholarships for a single academic year, not renewable and study to be undertaken in another country in which there are Rotary clubs based. This is the most common type of scholarship. |
| (b) | Multi-year Ambassadorial scholarships offer a flat grant per year for two-year degree-oriented course in another country. |
| (c) | Cultural Ambassadorial scholarships offer intensive language study and cultural immersion for either three or six months. |
Applicants must apply to their local Rotary Club. Further information is available on the Rotary International web-site, www.rotary.org under 'The Rotary Foundation', Educational Programs.
