MARTIN BUTLER BOOTH, M.A., Ph.D., sometime Head of the Department of Education, Fellow of Hughes Hall, 1996-2004, died on 1 August 2004, aged 67 years.

OLIVE JOAN BOULIND, M.A., CBE, sometime Tutor and Fellow of Hughes Hall, 1973-79, and subsequently Senior Member, died on Thursday, 29 July 2004, aged 91 years.

ALAN HUGH COOK, Kt, M.A., Ph.D., Sc.D., FRS, FRSE, Emeritus Jacksonian Professor of Natural Philosophy; Corpus Christi College, 1940-43 and 1946-50; Fellow of King's College, 1972-83; Master of Selwyn College, 1983-93; Fellow of Selwyn College, 1993-2004, died on 23 July 2004, aged 81 years.

ROBERT YEWDALL JENNINGS, Kt, M.A., LL.B., QC, member of Jesus College, 1939-2004, and Honorary Fellow, 1982-2004, died on Wednesday, 4 August 2004, aged 90 years.

Rt Hon Sir JOHN (WILLIAM) KAY, a Lord Justice of Appeal since 2000, member of Christ's College, 1962-2004, died on Friday, 2 July 2004, aged 60 years.

GUAN RUIJUN, B.A., graduate student of Wolfson College, died on 14 July, aged 22 years.

DEREK ROY TAUNT, M.A., Ph.D., member of Jesus College, 1949-2004, died on Thursday, 15 July 2004, aged 86 years.
