M.Phil. Degree (one-year course): Examinations in Environmental Policy, Land Economy (Option B), Planning, Growth, and Regeneration, and Real Estate Finance, 2004-05: Notice

The Degree Committee for the Department of Land Economy give notice that in the academical year 2004-05 the modules for: Environmental Policy; Land Economy (Option B); Planning, Growth, and Regeneration; and Real Estate Finance, in the examination for the M.Phil Degree (one-year course), in addition to the compulsory dissertation, will be as follows. Each candidate's course of study will be subject to the approval of the Degree Committee. Modules may be withdrawn if there is not sufficient demand. Availability of modules to individuals will be subject to prerequisite modules specified by the Department of Land Economy as specified in the Postgraduate Handbook, and timetabling constraints.

The Degree Committee also give notice that in the examination to be held in 2004, in addition to the compulsory dissertation in each M.Phil.:

1. The modules offered in the Michaelmas Term will be examined before the start of Full Lent Term by an essay or project not exceeding 4,000 words, and/or by written examination.

2. The modules offered in the Lent Term will be examined by an essay and/or project not exceeding 4,000 words and/or written examination in the Easter Term.

3. All written examinations shall be of two or three hours' duration.
