The Notice of 3 June 2004 (Reporter, p. 778) announcing changes to the regulations for the Preliminary Examination for Part I of the Education Studies Tripos (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 227) included an error in the papers listed for the History option. The correct entry should read:

| *Paper 2. | National Curriculum History or Papers 2, 3, or 4 from the Preliminary Examination for Part I of the Historical Tripos. | |
| Paper 3. | Each candidate shall submit four essays each of not more than 4,000 words on a topic approved by the Faculty Board of Education. |
