Graces to be submitted to the Regent House at a Congregation on 17 July 2004

The Council have sanctioned the submission of the following Graces to the Regent House at a Congregation to be held on 17 July 2004:

That the following persons be admitted to the degree of Master of Arts under the provisions of Statute B, III, 6:

1. JOHANNA MARIA PIETERSE, of Clare Hall, Executive Director (Africa) of Cambridge University Press.

2. SANDRA ANN MCCOMB, of Clare Hall, Executive Director (Australia and New Zealand) of Cambridge University Press.

3. CHIAKI HARA, Fellow of Churchill College, and University Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Politics.

4. JAMES PETER BLEVINS, Assistant Director of Research in the Research Centre for English and Applied Linguistics.

5. JOHN ERNEST CARMICHAEL MACBEATH, Fellow of Hughes Hall, and Professor of Educational Leadership (2000) in the Department of Education.

6. SUSAN BRINDLEY, Fellow of Lucy Cavendish College, and University Lecturer in the Department of Education.

7. MARK RAYMOND SMITH, Administrative Officer, Grade II, in the Academic Division of the University Offices.
