Natural Sciences Tripos, Part III, Experimental and Theoretical Physics: Notice

The Faculty Board of Physics and Chemistry have redefined the standard required in order to be a candidate for honours in Part III of the Natural Sciences Tripos in Experimental and Theoretical Physics under Regulation 5(a) (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 353), as follows:

A candidate:

 (1)should have taken Advanced Physics in Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos and obtained at least a 2:2 as an overall classification in Part IB;
and(2)should either have obtained honours in Experimental and Theoretical Physics in Part II or have obtained a First in Special Subject Physics in Part II (General) in the previous year.
