Natural Sciences Tripos, Part III, Experimental and Theoretical Physics: Notice

The Faculty Board of Physics and Chemistry have redefined the standard required in order to be a candidate for honours in Part III of the Natural Sciences Tripos in Experimental and Theoretical Physics under Regulation 5(a) (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 353), as follows:

A candidate:

(1) should have taken Advanced Physics in Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos and obtained at least a 2:2 as an overall classification in Part IB;

and (2) should either have obtained honours in Experimental and Theoretical Physics in Part II or have obtained a First in Special Subject Physics in Part II (General) in the previous year.

	(1)	should have taken Advanced Physics in Part IB of the Natural Sciences Tripos and obtained at least a 2:2 as an overall classification in Part IB;
and	(2)	should either have obtained honours in Experimental and Theoretical Physics in Part II or have obtained a First in Special Subject Physics in Part II (General) in the previous year.
