The General Board, with the concurrence of the Faculty Board of Engineering, give notice that they have amended, as set out below, the regulations for appointment and reappointment to the office of Director of Research (Administration and Development) in the Department of Engineering. Under the current regulations appointments and reappointments are made by the Appointments Committee for Faculty and Departmental Secretaries. This Committee has been replaced under the new arrangements for appointing academic-related staff approved by Grace 2 of 18 February 2004.
Regulation 1.
By amending the regulation so as to read:
1. Appointments and reappointments to the University office of Director of Research (Administration and Development) shall be made in accordance with arrangements agreed from time to time by the competent authority.
