Through the generosity of Mr Norman Waddleton, Emmanuel College is able to offer a post of Bibliographer, to compile descriptions of books containing colour-printed illustrations, published mainly in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The Bibliographer will be based in the Cambridge University Library, where much of Mr Waddleton's collection is housed.
This is a temporary post which is funded for a period of one year. The salary will be in the range of £15,594 to £18,026 depending on age and qualifications. Applicants should have some knowledge of the history of printing and illustration techniques, and experience of AACR2 and MARC21.
The closing date for applications is 2 July and interviews will be held on 20 July.
