Social and Political Sciences Tripos, Part IIB

With effect from 1 October 2004

The Faculty Board of Social and Political Sciences have announced the subject for Paper Int. 3 (An interdisciplinary subject, I) for the examination in 2005 and 2006 as 'Medicine, body, and society'. The Board have agreed that this subject would be more suitably listed as a Sociology paper than as an Interdisiplinary paper and have accordingly redesignated it as the subject of a new paper, Soc. 10 (A subject in sociology, VI) for the examination in 2005 and 2006; the regulations for the Tripos have been amended to include the new paper. Paper Int. 3 will no longer be available for the examinations in 2005-06. Candidates who wished to offer 'Medicine, body, and society' under Int. 3 in these examinations will be able to offer it under Soc. 10 instead.

Regulation 14.

By adding Soc. 10 'A subject in Sociology VI' to the list of Sociology papers and the last sentence.

Regulation 15.

By adding Soc. 10 to line 2.

Regulation 17.

By adding Soc. 10 to (c)(i) and the proviso.

Regulation 18.

By adding Soc. 10 to (c).

Regulation 19.

By adding Soc. 10 to (a) and (b) and the proviso.

Regulation 20.

By adding Soc. 10 to (a) and (b) and the proviso.

By adding Soc. 10 to the last sentence.
