Canada Postgraduate Travelling Scholarships

Two Scholarships, one in Sciences/Engineering and one in Arts/Humanities/Social Sciences, each worth up to a maximum of £1,000 towards the cost of travel and subsistence, are available from the newly constituted Cambridge Canadian Studies Programme. The scheme is intended to help postgraduate students at the University to visit Canada and to undertake a specific research project in Canada, with a view to help foster collaboration with researchers in Canada. Candidates must include in their application letter the following: (i) a statement of proposed research up to a maximum of 500 words; (ii) travel details; (iii) details of the arrangement with the host institution in Canada; (iv) a brief curriculum vitae; (v) a budget; and (vi) two reference letters. Recipients of the Scholarships will be expected to have completed their travel by 31 December 2004 and will be required to submit a brief report outlining the outcome of their research work.
