COLLEGE LECTURESHIP IN MODERN AND MEDIEVAL LANGUAGES (FIXED-TERM CONTRACT)

Corpus Christi College seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Modern and Medieval Languages from 1 October 2004 or 1 January 2005. Applications are invited from men and women in any field of Italian, Hispanic, or Latin-American Studies appropriate to the Cambridge course. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be a scholar in the early stages of their career for whom a short-term post would prove to be an attractive opportunity to enhance their profile in research and teaching. He or she will be elected to a College Fellowship. The post will require an average of 12 hours of teaching a week in Full Term either for Corpus Christi or, by exchange arrangements, for other Colleges. The appointment will be for three years, with the possibility of extension for a further one year and eleven months. The starting salary will be £21,852 rising in annual increments to a maximum of £26,327. The post is pensionable under USS.
