The Vice-Chancellor gives notice that she has received with gratitude the following benefactions:
| (i) | a benefaction of £150,000 under the Will of Mrs Isbel Fletcher Garden to fund a postgraduate scholarship alternately in Archaeology and Astronomy to be known as the Isbel Fletcher Garden Scholarship; |
| (ii) | a benefaction of about £9,000, which has been contributed to the Cambridge Veterinary School Trust in memory of Colonel John Hickman, Emeritus Reader in Animal Surgery. |
The Council are submitting Graces to the Regent House (Graces 1 and 2, pp. 735-36) for the approval of regulations to govern the proposed funds.
