Director of Centre for Applied Research in Educational Technologies: Notice

Applications are invited for the Directorship of the Centre for Applied Research in Educational Technologies (CARET). It is intended that the successful candidate will take up appointment with effect from 1 October 2004.

The Director, as head of CARET, has a key role in providing leadership in researching and developing new technologies in Education, and as such will have an understanding of the major current and future issues relating to the delivery of e-learning, and significant experience of strategic management and fund-raising.

The current pensionable stipend is £51,394. The appointment is for a fixed term of five years, in the first instance. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University. The University is committed to equality of opportunity.
