Mansfield College wishes to appoint a Development Officer to work alongside the Development Director as the second full-time member of staff in the Development Office.
The Development Officer will provide support for the Director in the implementation of the College's fund-raising and alumni relations programme. This will include event management, production of publications, maintaining alumni and donation records, and acting as the first point of contact for alumni and friends of the College by mail, telephone, e-mail and, in particular, the website.
Good organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work to deadlines are essential, as is some experience of using databases. Experience of event management, as well as work experience in a related area, is desirable. The ability to work as part of a team and an enthusiasm for what Mansfield is aiming to achieve is also important.
The salary offered for this position will be between £18,015 and £21,469.
