Faculty of Law: Conference

The first Ver Heyden de Lancey Conference on Freedom and responsibility in reproductive choice, will take place in the Faculty of Law, 10 West Road, on 2 July between 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. and on 3 July between 9.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. This conference will explore a range of philosophical and practical issues raised by the medical possibilities of artificial procreation. Speakers will include Professor Martin Johnson, Dr Celia Roberts (Lancaster), Professor Thomas Baldwin (York), Professor John Harris (Manchester), Dr Sally Sheldon (Keele), Baroness Mary Warnock, Dr Alison Shaw (Brunel), Dr Andrew Bainham, Professor Judith Masson (Warwick), Professor Martin Richards, and Professor Bonnie Steinbock (Albany). There is a booking fee of £50.
