ASSOCIATE LECTURESHIPS IN ENGLISH

Newnham College invites applications from men and women for an Associate Lectureship involving the equivalent of three hours' teaching a week during Full Term time (20 weeks of the year), primarily to Part I of the English Literature Tripos. Associate Lecturers are also expected to take an interest in the promotion of their subject amongst students of the College. The post will be tenable only in conjunction with another salaried academic or research appointment in the University of Cambridge or local research institution. It will be tenable from 1 October 2004, for one year in the first instance and may be renewed on an annual basis following a review.

Further particulars and details of the application procedure may be obtained from the Principal's Secretary, Newnham College, Cambridge, CB3 9DF (tel: 01223 330469, e-mail smc26@cus.cam.ac.uk). The closing date for applications is 15 May.
