Professor MORRIS KEITH HOPKINS, M.A., FBA, Fellow of King's College, 1963-67 and 1985-2004, Vice-Provost, Emerius Professor of Ancient History, died on 9 March 2004, aged 69 years.

Revd CHRISTOPHER JOHN RYAN, M.A., Ph.D., Fellow of King's College 2002-04, Dean of Chapel, died on 20 February 2004, aged 60 years.

ALBERT BASIL SHONE, M.A., Emeritus Treasurer, Fellow of Robinson College, 1977-85, Emeritus Fellow, 1985-2004, Deputy Warden, 1981-92, died on 14 March 2004, aged 86 years.

Professor Sir HENRY WILLIAM RAWSON WADE, QC, LL.D., Litt.D. (Hon), FBA, Master of Gonville and Caius College, 1976-88, Fellow of Gonville and Caius College, 1976-2004, Emeritus Rouse Ball Professor of English Law, died on 13 March, aged 86 years.
