The following lectures will be open to members of the University and others who are interested:
Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic. Professor Peter Foote, of University College London, will deliver the Fifteenth Annual H. M. Chadwick Memorial Lecture, entitled The early Christian laws of Iceland, on Thursday, 11 March, at 5 p.m., in Lecture Room LG17, Faculty of Law, West Road. The lecture will be followed by a reception in St John's College.
MRC Dunn Human Nutrition Unit. The Second Annual Dunn Lecture, entitled Ancient origins-modern diseases: a mitochondrial connection, will be given by Douglas C. Wallace, of the University of California, on 23 March, at 4.30 p.m., in the Max Perutz Lecture Theatre, MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Hills Road.
