University of Oxford and Linacre College

UNIVERSITY LECTURERSHIP AND NON-TUTORIAL FELLOWSHIP IN GENERAL LINGUISTICS

Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1 October 2004 or as soon as possible thereafter.

University salary, according to age, will be on the scale of £22,191 to £35,845 a year (pay award pending). The successful candidate is expected to be offered a non-tutorial Fellowship at Linacre College. Preference will be given to candidates with a teaching and research interest in descriptive syntax and syntactic theory, but other specialisms may be considered. Candidates should have an outstanding research record or potential.
