The Girton Work-Life Balance Workshop, entitled Educating for work-life balance: what can we tell our students? and chaired by Professor Dame Marilyn Strathern, Mistress of Girton, will take place on Saturday, 24 April, at Girton College. Speakers on What is 'work-life Balance'? Life: choices and stages. Work: practice and policy, will include John Cottingham, Professor of Philosophy, University of Reading; Joyce Hill: Director, HE Equality Challenge Unit; Pat Thane, Professor of Contemporary History, University of London; Deryn Watson, Professor of Education, King's College London; Helen Whitten, PostiveWorks.
