Centre for Jewish-Christian Relations

JUNIOR LECTURESHIP

Based at the Centre for Jewish-Christian Relations in Cambridge, the post-holder will be involved in the development of research and postgraduate teaching, primarily in the field of Jewish-Christian Relations and the Holocaust. With significant input into enhancing the Centre's reputation in this field, the post-holder will be expected to contribute to teaching at M.A. level, in the classroom and online. The post-holder should have (or expect soon to complete) a Ph.D. Degree. Expertise in social science approaches to Jewish-Christian relations, or in the interface between religion and violence, would fit well with plans to develop teaching in this area. This is a one-year fixed contract, beginning on 30 September 2004. The salary will be between £16,150 and £19,000, subject to experience.
