Applications are invited for the post of Bursar with effect from 1 August 2004. The post-holder will be elected to a Fellowship of the College and to membership of the Governing Body.
The Bursar is the senior officer responsible for the College's financial accounting and services and for the general management of its internal affairs, including the maintenance of buildings and domestic arrangements.
Applicants should possess strong financial, management, and communication skills, and the intellectual ability to gain the respect of both academic and professional colleagues. Direct experience of the higher education sector would be an advantage.
The appointment is full time and permanent. The starting salary will be based on the University of Oxford Professorial basic salary together with certain allowances.
