Philosophical Society

On Monday, 9 February, at 8.30 p.m. in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, New Museums Site, Professor M. Warren, of Queen Mary, University of London, will deliver a lecture entitled The maddening business of King George III; psychological, porphyria, or poison? All who are interested are invited.

At a meeting held on 26 January, in the Cockcroft Lecture Theatre, Professor H. Ahmed, President, was in the Chair.

Dr M. G. Worster, of the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics, delivered the G. I. Taylor Lecture, entitled Interfaces with fluid flow. A vote of thanks was moved by Professor T. J. Pedley.
