Appeals must be made in writing to the Secretary of the Appeals Committee by the date specified in the timeable (now amended to Friday, 6 February 2004) and give clearly the reasons on which the appeal is grounded. The procedure for appeals is laid out in full in the guidance booklet.

Membership of the Appeals Committee is:

Professor Sir John Kingman (Chairman)

Professor Paul A. Cartledge

Professor Andrew Hopper

Professor Ronald A. Laskey

Professor Megan A. Vaughan

Secretary: Dr M. Felicity Hunt

Appeals, which should be marked 'Personal and Confidential', must be sent to Dr Hunt, at the Personnel Division, The Old Schools, Trinity Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1TT (tel. 01223 332268, e-mail mfh3@cam.ac.uk), so as to reach her no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, 6 February.
