Graces submitted to the Regent House on 21 January 2004

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces, unless they are withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 30 January 2004.

1. That, on the recommendation of the General Board, the regulations for the disclosure of examination marks be amended as follows:1

Regulation 2.

By inserting at the end of line 1 of the regulation after the word 'communicate' the words 'to the Registrary and'.

2. That Professor Anthony John Badger, Master of Clare College, be appointed one of the Septemviri to serve until 31 December 2004.2

1 Statutes and Ordinances, p. 217. This regulation identifies the persons to whom marks and other information considered advisable should be communicated. In order to comply with HEFCE requirements for student transcripts it is necessary to include the Registrary as a recipient in order that such transcripts can be produced by the Student Records and Statistics Section of the Academic Division.

2 It is proposed that Professor Badger replace Dr Fleet who has stood down.
