Graces submitted to the Regent House on 17 December 2003

The Council submit the following Graces to the Regent House. These Graces other than any which is withdrawn or for which a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 26 December 2003.

1. That Lord Irvine of Lairg, of Christ's College, be appointed as Chairman of the Septemviri to serve for four years from 1 January 2004.

2. That Professor Sir John Baker, of St Catharine's College, be appointed one of the Septemviri to serve for two years from 1 January 2004.

3. That Dame Judith Mayhew, Provost of King's College, be appointed one of the Septemviri to serve for two years from 1 January 2004.

4. That Professor Dame Marilyn Strathern, Mistress of Girton College, be appointed one of the Septemviri to serve for two years from 1 January 2004.

5. That Professor Anthony Charles Minson, of Wolfson College, be appointed a member of the Finance Committee of the Council to serve for three years from 1 January 2004.
