Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (Old and Revised Regulations)

(Statutes and Ordinances, pp. 502 and 509)

Correction

FINAL VETERINARY EXAMINATION

It is regretted that the amendments to Regulations 10 (Old Regulations) and 16 (Revised Regulations) published in the Reporter, p. 261, were incorrect. The amendments should read as follows:

Regulation 10 (Old Regulations) and Regulation 16 (Revised Regulations).

By replacing the second sentence of each regulation by the following two sentences:

The examination shall consist of two written papers and a practical examination. The two written papers and the practical examination shall each be of two hours' duration. There shall be a requirement to submit assessed project work.

Revised Regulations

(Statutes and Ordinances, p. 509)

The amendments to regulations reflect changes to confer on the Director of Medical and Veterinary Education the authority to waive the requirement of diligent attendance in subjects of the Second Veterinary M.B. Examination in exceptional circumstances.

With effect from 1 October 2004

Regulation 9.

By adding to sub-paragraph (b) as an additional sentence:

The Director of Medical and Veterinary Education shall have the authority to waive this requirement in exceptional circumstances.
