REGULATIONS FOR EXAMINATIONS: NOTICE BY THE GENERAL BOARD

The General Board give notice that, on the recommendation of the Faculty Board or other authority concerned, the regulations for certain University examinations have been amended as follows:

Modern and Medieval Languages Tripos

Papers Ge. 4, Ge. 5, and Ge. 6 have been replaced by two new papers: Paper Ge. 4 'The making of German culture, 1' and Paper Ge. 5 'The making of German culture, 2'. The new Paper Ge. 4 will be introduced with effect from 1 October 2004 and will be available at Part IB only. The new Paper Ge. 5 will take effect from 1 October 2005 and will be available at Part II only. The regulations have been amended as follows:

With effect from 1 October 2004

SCHEDULE B

German

By retitling Paper Ge. 4 (German literary culture in the early and high middle ages) as 'The making of German culture, 1'.

SCHEDULE II (Papers Available in Part II)

By removing Paper Ge. 4 from this Schedule.

With effect from 1 October 2005

SCHEDULE B

German

By replacing Papers Ge. 5 (German literary culture in the late and middle ages) and Ge. 6 (German literature, thought, and history, from 1500-1732) by a new Paper Ge. 5 entitled 'The making of German culture, 2'.

SCHEDULE Ib (Papers Available in Part IB)

By removing Papers Ge. 5 and 6 from this Schedule.

SCHEDULE II (Papers Available in Part II)

By removing Paper Ge. 6 from this Schedule.
