The first Cambridge eScience Centre Computer Officers' Forum will take place at 2 p.m. on Monday, 12 January 2004, in Meeting Room 4, at the Centre for Mathematical Sciences. It will introduce Grid concepts to a technical audience with talks summarizing the Grid research and applications being developed around the University and the software on which these are based. There will be an opportunity for open discussion on issues such as authentication, authorization, and security. All interested are invited to attend.
