The Board of Graduate Studies have introduced a new online system for collecting, monitoring, and responding to reports from Graduate Student supervisors to be called CamGRAD. This system complements CamCORS (the undergraduate reporting system).
CamGRAD is now available from the Board's website (http://www.camgrad.cam.ac.uk/), where an online help system giving full details of the scheme may also be found.
Each supervisor who would normally be expected to submit a report on a Graduate Student under his or her supervision in the Michaelmas Term 2003 and who has indicated willingness to use the new system will receive an e-mail message to announce that report forms are ready for completion through the CamGRAD website. The relatively few supervisors who are unable to receive electronic documents will be sent paper report forms in the usual manner.
Training sessions have been held for Degree Committee representatives during November so that help and information will be available within Faculties and Departments as well as through the website or from the Board of Graduate Studies (e-mail graduatestudents@gradstudies.cam.ac.uk, typing the word 'CamGrad' in the subject line).
