Grace submitted to the Regent House on 26 November 2003

The Council submit the following Grace to the Regent House. This Grace, unless it is withdrawn or a ballot is requested in accordance with the regulations for Graces of the Regent House (Statutes and Ordinances, p. 115), will be deemed to have been approved at 4 p.m. on Friday, 5 December 2003.

1. That Regulation 2 for the dates of examinations and publication of class-lists be amended as follows:1

By replacing under 'Wednesday before last Sunday in May' 'Geographical Tripos, Part IB' by 'Geographical Tripos, Part IA' and replacing under 'Wednesday before first Sunday in June' 'Geographical Tripos, Part IA' by Geographical Tripos, Part IB'.

1 Statutes and Ordinances, p. 213. The Faculty Board of Earth Sciences and Geography have proposed an earlier start to the examination for Part IA of the Geographical Tripos, and a consequential later start to the examination for Part IB of the Tripos. The Board have confirmed that no student will be disadvantaged by these changes.
