Slade Professorship of Fine Art: Notice

The Board of Electors to the Slade Professorship of Fine Art invite applications for this Visiting Professorship for the academical year 2005-06 and from 2007-08 onwards. The successful candidate is not required to reside in the University. It will be the duty of the Professor to deliver twelve lectures, in term time of the academical year, on the History, Theory, and Practice of Fine Arts. Up to four of the lectures may be replaced by an equivalent amount of teaching in the form of classes as agreed with the Department of History of Art. The appointment will be subject to the Statutes and Ordinances of the University. The University is committed to equality of opportunity.
