MAX PERUTZ MEMORIAL LECTURE

The first Max Perutz Memorial Lecture, under the auspices of the Kelvin Club (the Peterhouse Scientific Society), in association with the Austrian Cultural Forum, will be held in the College Theatre, Peterhouse, on Tuesday, 25 November 2003, at 5.30 p.m. Professor Kim Nasmyth, FRS, Director of the Institute of Molecular Pathology, Vienna, will speak on How do we inherit the correct number of chromosomes?

The Chair will be taken by Sir Aaron Klug, OM, FRS, Honorary Fellow of Peterhouse. The lecture will be followed by a concert entitled The trails of creativity, 1918-38 (David Frühwith, violin; Sarah Rahman, piano; introduced by Brendan Carroll) and by a reception.
