Dr Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities, will give a public lecture, entitled Secrets from the sand: my search for Egypt's past, on Friday, 21 November 2003, at 6 p.m. in the Wolfson Theatre, Churchill College. Tickets are priced £10 (£5 concessions).
