Applications are invited for the position of Recreation Assistant / Fitness Adviser to take up appointment in December 2003. The post-holder will supervise fitness training and offer basic instruction and advice on fitness programmes, rehabilitation, and health and safety matters. The person appointed will also be responsible for First Aid cover of the building and the adjacent Football, Cricket, and Tennis grounds. Applicants should be qualified in Sports Science or a similar discipline. Hours will be based on a shift system that will require some evening and weekend work. The pensionable scale of the stipend is £13,105 to £15,129 a year.
