Clare College

DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR AND FELLOW

Clare College is seeking to appoint an experienced Development Director to lead its fundraising and alumni relations activities. The College is raising money for a mixed portfolio of projects, including bursaries and funds for student hardship, and the renovation of historic Old Court. Having successfully raised more than £10 million in its recent campaign, Clare has shown itself to be among Cambridge's most successful Colleges in gaining the support of its alumni.

The successful candidate is likely to have a wealth of fundraising and management experience and to welcome challenging financial targets. S/he will also be a confident team-player who is completely at ease with the most senior donors, volunteers, and academic colleagues.

The Development Director will be offered a Fellowship of the College, and a salary in the range £45,000-55,000.

Further details can be obtained from Donald Hearn, Bursar, Clare College, Cambridge, CB2 1TL (dph29@cam.ac.uk). For further general information about the College, refer to the College website at http://www.clare.cam.ac.uk/.

The closing date for applications is 4 July and interviews are expected to begin at the end of July.
