In their Notice dated 23 October 2002, the CamSIS Project Board set out the arrangements for the selection of a supplier for the CamSIS software. This process concluded in March 2003 with the selection of Ciber and PeopleSoft as the preferred suppliers of the system. The selection process included consultation with a wide range of University and College representatives and the Project Board wish to express their gratitude to all those who have taken part. The Council have now approved the Project and the Project Board have commenced contract negotiations with the preferred suppliers. In the meantime a number of outstanding issues are being resolved and the full Project Team, which is based at Greenwich House, is being assembled. Further information on the Project can be found on the CamSIS website at http://www.camsis.cam.ac.uk/. The Project Team welcomes comments on the Project which can be logged on the website.
